Therapy for autistic adults and children

We offer individual therapy for adults and children, provided by a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in autism and neurodivergence.
We all have periods in our life where stress and life experiences can become overwhelming. Therapy can help you to make sense of these experiences in a safe space, with an experienced clinician. We use evidence based therapies to support neurodivergent individuals to process their experiences and to work towards goals that are meaningful and important to them.
Therapy can help you to build a psychological formulation to understand your current difficulties and to recognise your strengths. Our aim is to support you in a person-centred way to live a life inspired by your values.
We use a range of psychological therapies that are tailored to fit your individual needs, including therapies informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). We are also able to offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for supporting people with traumatic or adverse experiences, including sensory overload.
Please get in touch to explore these options with an experienced Clinical Psychologist and to take the next step on your journey to wellbeing.

Does your child need help managing worries?
Our Assistant Psychologist offers sessions for children, which look at how to cope with worries, and strategies for positive wellbeing.
These can be held at our therapy space in Saddleworth, or at your child’s school.
